Currently, our AI Task Force is working on the third National AI Strategy for 2024–2026. Until its release, all activities are carried out according on the  Estonia’s National AI Strategy for 2022–2023, which is a continuation of the AI strategy implemented in 2019–2021. The compilation of the first AI Strategy began in 2018 under the guidance of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications and the Government Office, when an expert group was formed and a report on the potential uptake of AI in Estonia was completed.
